Shanna Trombetta is a Professional Educational Therapist (ET/P), Literacy Specialist at Crossroads Elementary, and the founder and clinic director of Trombetta Education Group. She is passionate about helping students—especially those with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences—unlock their potential through personalized, evidence-based instruction.

 

With over two decades of experience as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, and homeschool instructor, Shanna blends deep expertise with a compassionate, relationship-centered approach. She is trained in Orton-Gillingham, Barton, Lively Letters, Wilson Fundations, and Handwriting Without Tears, as well as Singapore Math and the Zones of Regulation framework. Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Psychology, and an Educational Therapy Certification from UC Riverside.

 

An active leader in the learning differences community, Shanna serves on the board of the Los Angeles Dyslexia Association, is a member of the Association of Educational Therapists, and partners with Child Nexus. She is committed to empowering students and families with the tools, strategies, and confidence they need to succeed—both in school and beyond.
